Red Kite has revealed plans for a new housing development on an old garage site in Marlow.
The housing association submitted plans to Buckinghamshire Council this week to build a pair of two-storey, two-bedroom properties on a plot of land next to 49 Shelley Road.
Red Kite said: “The proposed houses are for affordable rent and hence will go towards meeting much needed requirement for affordable housing within the district.
“Local parking provision is increased by the allocation of ten car parking spaces within the site.”

The development site, which is securely fenced off, currently has 19 derelict garages on it, although parking has not been allowed there for several months.
Both new homes will have their own private gardens, bin and recycling facilities and two parking spaces each.
There will also be six new parking spaces for local residents created nearby, as well as a turning area for bin lorries.
Red Kite claimed it had ‘gone over and beyond what is required’ in terms of parking provision for the site.
It said a 2018 consultation revealed that residents were generally supportive of the plans, and that a survey showed there was ‘little demand for garaging facilities at the site’.
