POLICE cadets in Beaconsfield have been marking Easter with a themed fun day which resulted in an usual arrest.
The 'Easter Bunny' was handcuffed during the end-of-term session on Thursday, March 28 at their Beaconsfield base.
The twelve youngsters took part in a police-themed quiz and got to practice using the radio system. They were also treated for plenty of chocolate eggs - and a special visit from some former cadets.
Thames Valley Police offers a cadet scheme to give young people an opportunity to develop their qualities and skills through a structured programme.
It is open to young people ages between 13 and 18 who have a desire to support their local communities.
The force's current chief constable John Campbell even began his own career in policing as a cadet.
For those younger but still keen on learning more about policing, Thames Valley Police has a 'Mini Police' service. This scheme is available for children in years five and six.
