A TEENAGER who was involved in an armed standoff with police in Flackwell Heath has avoided a jail sentence.
Frazer Fontaine was arrested after giving himself up following a two hour stalemate with officers at a property in Heath End Road on July 13.
Police said at the time the 19-year-old, of no fixed abode, threatened officers who were responding to reports of an assault with a knife.
He then climbed onto the roof of a house after armed officers arrived on the scene but gave himself up after two hours - during which time the road outside was closed to traffic.
Fontaine pleaded guilty to affray at an earlier hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court before being sentenced today.
He was made the subject of community and supervision orders for 18 months and told to take part in an employment, training and education programme.
