THE Bucks Free Press was not allowed to attend a Wanderers Trust members' forum last night in response to the board saying one of our headlines was misleading.
The BFP had been invited to attend Tuesday's meeting by the Trust, where more details about a proposed takeover of the club were set to be announced.
The two reporters we had sent to cover the meeting were denied entry however.
The Trust has said today that this was in response to a headline on the back page of last Friday's Free Press, which said members had agreed to 'stand down' from their position as owners to allow new investors to take over.
The Trust said this was misleading as they would retain a partial ownership of the club, and the BFP's reporters were refused entry to the meeting as a result.
