A STEAM train will make a rare stop in Beaconsfield soon giving locals an opportunity to enjoy the old-fashioned train journey and a three-course meal.
The Cathedrals Express steam train will be stopping in Beaconsfield on Sunday, April 13 taking passengers on a trip to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.
The Steam Dreams Chairman, Marcus Robertson, said: “Until last autumn we hadn’t visited Beaconsfield for many years, as the new Chiltern Railway timetable made it only possible for steam to stop here on a Sunday.”
Ticket prices range from £99 for a Premium Standard ticket and £225 per person for Pullman Style Dining, which would include a three-course meal.
