ORGANISERS of the Kop Hill Climb have donated an impressive £10,000 to the Princes Centre fund.

The day care centre in Princes Risborough is now well on its way to raising the £300,000 to buy the building in Clifford Road and maintain services.

The trustees of the Princes Centre are very grateful for this generous donation from this wonderful event which has enhanced the status of Princes Risborough.

The event has now given £25,000 over the years to the day centre.

They have also recently received donations from a lady who has been busy knitting and selling scarves, further large donations from Princes Risborough Rotary Club and St Dunstan's Church, another £600 from sales of CDs by the Black Dog Band, Owlswick Morris and Banjovi Revival, a large donation from a collection at a funeral, a donation from Monks Risborough First School, and several smaller donations.

The Princes Centre Appeal has now topped £170,000. The increased numbers of clients means the centre is now financially sustainable.

However they need to keep striving to reach the goal of £300,000.
