AN author and storyteller visited a Gerrards Cross School last week to celebrate World Book Day.
Author John Harris, went to Thorpe House Pre-Prep School last Friday as part of the schools week long celebration.
He met with pupils and even signed copies of his work for the children.
English Co-ordinator and Year 1 teacher Mr Devlin, said: “We have had a fantastic book week this year and all the children and staff have worked hard to make it so successful.”
Pupil, Oscar Knight from class 2KM, said: “My favourite thing this week was getting a signed book from John Harris because the books are funny.”
Pupils from the school also dressed up as their favourite animal book characters earlier in the week.
