A FLACKWELL Heath singer’s hopes of winning a national television talent show have ended after she was voted off The Voice.

22-year-old, Nomakhosi, was voted off this weekend, in the final round before the live shows begin.

Born in South Africa, Nomakhosi moved to South Bucks when she was nine.

She wowed the coaches in the blind auditions and joined Kylie's team before she was stolen in the battle round by will.i.am.

But Nomakhosi, who works in JD Sports in Wycombe, didn't make will.i.am's final three after he was forced to cut four members from his team.

The singer went to Sir William Ramsay School but was not able to emulate the success of another former pupil, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

The High Wycombe singer won the X-Factor in 2011 as part of the girl group, which has gone on to have chart success around the world.

Little Mix are expected to score another chart hit this weekend with the official Sports Relief single, Word Up.
