THERE was colour and paint everywhere at a Gerrards Cross school last week as pupils got fully involved in art week.
After seeing examples of artist, Holton Rower’s work, the Gayhurst School children created many items including pouring free flowing paint into the centre of a canvas.
The children chose the colours they wanted and together created a very exciting and fun work of art.
Gayhurst School’s Head of Art said, Sorsha Crosbie, said: “Rower is mostly known for his ‘Pour’ paintings and it is an incredibly simple but effective way for children to produce stunning works of art themselves.”
