THE country’s biggest Cheese Makers Market will return to Beaconsfield next month for the third time.

The UK’s top event for cheese lovers will take place on Saturday, April 12 at The Market Place, Old Beaconsfield.

There will be an opportunity for people to learn about, taste and buy cheese at the event which regularly sees thousands of people attend.

The Cheese Makers Market will offer cheeses from over 70 different producers, showcasing both British and Continental varieties.

As well as this there will even be kits to make your own cheese and yoghurts at home.

This year, Eric Charriaux and Amnon Paldi, directors of both Premier Cheese and La Cave à Fromage, associates of the Cheese Makers Market, will be in attendance on the day.

Last year’s participants included noted producers such as Cooleeney from Ireland, Thornby Moor from Cumbria, Bath Soft Cheese, Cornish Blue Cheese, Errington from Scotland, Isle of Mull Cheddar and Innes Cheese from Staffordshire.

Producers from Portugal, Spain, France and Italy will be at the market this year, whilst platters of cheese and wine and hot snacks will be available throughout the day.

As well as a whole host of cheeses on offer, the market will feature many types of bread, biscuits, chutneys and a variety of wines.

The Cheese Makers Market will be on Saturday, April 12, from 9am to 5pm.
