NANDO’S are going to open a new restaurant at Beaconsfield Service Station, this summer.

The popular chicken restaurant is likely to open in either June or July as the service station on the M40.

Nando’s will join numerous other food outlets at the M40 Extra service group, including McDonald's, KFC and the new Wetherspoons pub, the Hope and Champion.

As well as the addition of the Nando’s restaurant, cake-specialists Patisserie Valerie will also be added to the junction two service station.

Andrew Long, CEO of Extra MSA Group, said: “Extra are pleased to be working with both Nando’s and Patisserie Valerie to further expand the range of customer choice and popular major national brands represented at its Service Areas”. Alteration work will commence later this month to create a new Unit two for Patisserie Valerie and a new Unit three for Nando’s.

This will be in place of the existing floor space in the Food Court Building, currently occupied by Le Petit Four Francais.

He added the intention is to have both new facilities open for June or July this year, ahead of the busy summer trading period.
