ONE of Marlow's biggest employers is celebrating yet another strong year after new figures showed revenues had jumped by 30 per cent.

IT firm Softcat, based at Globe Park on Fieldhouse Lane, turned over £395.8million in the financial year ending 31 July 2013 to smash the previous total.

The IT infrastructure company, one of the biggest in Marlow’s with nearly 400 staff based in the town, also saw its profits surge by 25 per cent.

Martin Hellawell, Executive Chairman, said: "We are pleased with another set of stellar top and bottom line results showing strong organic growth

"Our formula remains very much the same: employ lots of great people with the right attitude, strive to be a great place to work for our employees and provide world-class customer service."

Softcat and its employees are involved with a number of charities, with the Marlow offices given over to Sport Relief last month when the premises became a contact centre for the BBC charity.

The company was also named as the fourth best workplace in the UK and the tenth best workplace in Europe in its size category by the Best Workplaces organisation.

The growing firm recruited over two hundred new employees last year, with 50 new starters in Marlow on its graduate intake programme.

Softcat also has offices in Machester and London.
