I'm surprised there are not more accidents in Marlow Bottom. The standard of driving is generally poor. Most drivers will not give way when the obstruction is on their side. I don't think anyone in the valley has read the Highway Code. They park 12" from the kerb, on bends and some parts of the valley are single file only due to the long lines of parked cars.
The section by Brucewood Parade was particularly bad at 16:30 yesterday. I wound my window down and asked a driver if she was actually going to leave her car parked like that (opposite a parked car), but typically she ignored me.

Don't forget that drivers of some models of Mercedes and all 4x4 owners are allowed to park like that as long as they turn on their double parking indicators. You should exercise your civic duty and report them if they flout this.

I live on Marlow bottom road and I have first hand experience of the poor driving in the area. It is a race track and no one ever thanks you if you give way to the them. Yesterday was the first time I have actually seen a Police car in the area too, does someone have to die before changes are made.
