A REVELLER was picked up, dragged down an alleyway and assaulted after leaving a High Wycombe bar, police said.

The 25-year-old man left Yates’s in Frogmoor sometime between 1am and 3am on Saturday when he was approached by two unknown men.

Police said the duo dragged the man down an alleyway near Temple End where they held him down and assaulted him for about a minute before the victim managed to fight them off.

The man sustained bruising and cuts to his back and ankle but did not require hospital treatment, officers said.

Police said the men are described as white, aged between 19 and 24 years old, with local accents. They were possibly wearing hooded tops.

Contact police on the 101 enquiry line with any information or, if you do not want to speak to police, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
