Field petition to be considered as part of Local Plan consultation report
A PETITION launched to save a playing fields from development will be taken into account when a council analyses the responses to the Local Plan.
More than 500 residents signed a petition urging Wycombe District Council to remove Buckmaster Playing Fields as an option for employment space under the Local Plan consultation options.
A public meeting was organised by Cressex member Cllr Brian Pearce on the issue last month.
The petition secured a debate at Full Council on Monday night in which councillors agreed that the petition would be taken into account when the responses to the public consultation are analysed.
