ORGANISERS of a talk on the historic discovery of a lost King say they expect the event to be a complete sell-out.
Next week, Archaeology in Marlow is welcoming Matthew Morris, who led the Univeristy of Leicester dig that found the remains of Richard III under a car park in the city.
And with tickets selling quickly, organisers say the event at Liston Hall may sell out before the night and are encouraging people to book early.
Special guest Mr Morris will present a talk on the monumental find, widely recognised as the most significant of its time.
It is the largest event for Archaeology in Marlow since its formation over a decade ago.
‘The King under the Car Park: The Search for Richard III’ will take place on Thursday May 22 at Liston Hall, Chapel Street from 8pm.
Tickets cost £5, or £4 for AIM members and are available on the door or in advance from The Tourist Information Centre, Institute Road 01628 481717.
