A LACEY Green man has been presented with an award, recognising his work with the Royal Air Forces Association.

Dave McLauchlan was awarded a South East and Eastern Presidential Certificate in recognition of the outstanding service he has given the association over many years.

The award was made in conjunction with the New Year's Honours List 2014 in recognition of his service as RAFA welfare officer from 1996 to 2013.

The presentation was made at RAFA High Wycombe Branch Headquarters by former Wycombe District Council chairman Cllr Ian McEnnis.

RAFA is a membership organisation and registered charity that provides welfare support to the RAF family.
