MARLOW Museum Centre Project held a successful street collection in Marlow on Saturday, June 7.

A total of £314.06 was collected in town during the day, which will go towards meeting some of the operating costs of the Court Garden-based museum, which is staffed entitely by volunteers.

Museum staff have thanked the volunteer collectors, as well as residents and visitors who generously contributed on the day.

As well as covering costs, volunteers want to secure a larger premises in future to expand its operation to put on bigger exhibitions.

The latest exhibition, entitled ‘The Changing Face of Marlow', begins on July 5.
