POLICE are appealing for help to find a woman after two people raised concerns for her welfare.

The woman appeared upset and distressed to the people she spoke to in High Wycombe in the early hours of Sunday, June 15.

Both of them reported her to the police after saying they were concerned for her wellbeing.

She is described as white with a tan, 5ft 5ins to 5ft 6ins tall, aged approximately in her early thirties. She had blonde/brown coloured hair which was in corn braids, which were tied up at the back of the head, and were just below shoulder length.

She had a white bandage on her left forearm and was wearing a pink or red short sleeved t-shirt. She was carrying a handbag over her left shoulder with the strap made of leather and gold-coloured chains.

The first man to see her spoke to her near the Job Centre Plus in West Wycombe Road. She had walked there alone from the direction of Morrisons supermarket.

The woman then walked along West Wycombe Road and onto Desborough Avenue, where she spoke to another man at about 3.50am.

Investigating officer Det Con Matt Kent said: "We have a concern for the woman’s welfare and wish to speak to her or anyone who may have seen her or spoken to her during the early hours of Sunday.

"We would like to check she is safe and well."

If you have any information about who the woman may be, contact Det Con Kent on 101.
