A DOG needed help from firefighters after getting stuck in a set of railings.
Cutting equipment usually used to help people trapped in their cars after an accident were put to unorthodox use to rescue the prone pooch.
A crew from Amersham fire station came to its rescue after it got stuck in railings in Bois Wood, Woodley Hill, near Chesham, at around 7.45pm yesterday evening.
The dog was handed into the care of a vet after firefighters finally freed it.
