CHESHAM'S Local Produce Market will celebrate its fourth birthday on Saturday with a free prize draw and entertainment for children.

Since being set up by Chesham Town Council and Transition Town Chesham in 2010 the market has grown steadily and this month it has welcomed a further two producers to the ranks.

Norton's Farm in Great Kingshill and the A Touch of Magic store in Chesham will both have stalls at the market for the first time.

One of the market’s organisers, Kathryn Graves, said: "The market runs on the fourth Saturday of each month with much-loved local producers like Hazeldene Farm and Chiltern Ridge. Come along on Saturday and talk to the people who grow and make the food, drink and crafts - they’re passionate about what they do and it’s a great opportunity to find out where your food comes from."

The market runs from 10am-2pm in the High Street. Its usual home in Market Square is currently undergoing roadworks.
