DOZENS of excited students are to display their hard work at a special art show at The Highcrest Academy tomorrow.

Dignitaries, parents, residents and representatives from nearby schools have all been invited to the event, called Interpretation, at the academy in Hatters Lane, High Wycombe.

"It is the first major art show at the school for two years, and we have a record number of projects on display," said Rea Davis, the teacher who has organised the evening.

"The standard is extremely high and we are very proud of our talented students. We believe the public will be suitably impressed."

The art includes a range of paintings, drawings, mixed media pieces and 3D sculptures from Years 10, 11 and 12. Everything on display has been produced as part of GCSE or A Level coursework.

It runs from 4.30pm to 6.45pm on June 26. Admission is free.
