STUDENTS were given an insight into the movie world during a school visit by children’s film editor and animator Mark Soloman last week.

Mr Soloman, whose credits include Shrek, Shark Tale and Chicken Run, took part in a question and answer session at St Michael’s Catholic School.

The year 13 students’ film club took part in the Q&A as part of a scheme run by education charity Into Film, in association with BAFTA.

Students have previously interviewed The King’s Speech actress Helena Bonham-Carter and also attend the preview of The Young and Prodigious movie.

It marks a busy couple of weeks for the Daws Hill Lane-based school, which received a visit from Wycombe Mayor Cllr Khalil Ahmed, who praised pupils for their fundraising efforts for the Little Princess Trust and CAFOD charity.
