CLARE Balding has lent her support to a walk in Marlow to raise money for two charities.

The Jolly Jaunt takes place on July 12 at 7pm with a four or 8.5 mile route from Court Gardens Leisure Centre in Marlow to raise money for South Bucks Hospice and Scannappeal.

Dame Clare Balding, TV presenter, and patron for the hospice, said: "South Bucks Hospice does a fantastic job of caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. The Jolly Jaunt sponsored walk is a fun and great way to support their work and help raise money for the care of local people."

Paralympic champion Naomi Riches will be leading a warm-up at the leisure centre prior to leading the walkers on their Jolly Jaunt around the park.

Individual entry fee is £15 or for a team of just £100. The registration fee includes a pair of flashing bouncy head gear, a BBQ refreshment and drink which is being provided by Marlow Thame Rotary and Asda High Wycombe, as well as a medal when the walk in completed. Minimum age of entry is 16.
