A RURAL parish council is calling for residents to get more involved in day-to-day issues as it launches its new website this month.

Great Marlow Parish Council is responsible for the area north and west of Marlow, which includes Harleyford, Bovingdon Green and Wycombe Air Park in Booker and stretches up to the M40 boundary in the north.

At its recent AGM, the council re-elected Barry Fentiman as chairman, with his appointment coinciding with the launch of the new council site.

It includes parish news, events, planning issues, council contact details and outlines the council’s responsibilities to its parishioners.

And the chairman is calling for all residents to submit their views on everything from the impact of Wycombe’s Local Plan to pothole problems on the parish’s roads and possible plans to develop Wycombe Air Park.

Cllr Fentiman said: ""We ask all members of the Parish to become actively involved in today's issues, either by contacting their Councillor or by attending the monthly meetings held by Great Marlow Parish Council at Bovingdon Green Village Hall."

Full details of meetings can be found on the new site www.greatmarlowpc.co.uk
