AN open day at The Wycombe Swan saw more than 600 people go through their doors.

A range of activities were arranged for the community day, which included backstage tours, dance and drama workshops and storytelling with the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre.

Programme development manager, David Swan, said: "I am delighted that we were able to offer a fantastic free day out for all the family to enjoy yesterday.

"The venue was a hive of activity with everyone milling about enjoying what we had to offer. The day was a huge hit with our visitors. Feedback has been hugely positive with many people asking when the next fun day was going to be as they were leaving. The planning for the next one has therefore started already to ensure it’s an even bigger success."
