ORGANISERS of a hugely successful charity concert have thanked their opera-loving audience for turning out in force to see its star guest.

International soprano and Brit nominee Isobel Cooper took to the stage at All Saints Church in Marlow last weekend in support of St. Mary’s Preschool in Marlow Bottom.

Over 150 people attended the show, which pulled in over £2500 for the preschool.

Organiser Zoe O’Reilly said: "The cava flowed all evening, the atmosphere was amazing and the performers involved were outstanding.

"Izzy Cooper was amazing and Robin Hill, world renowned guitarist was absolutely superb. They created a wonderfully intimate evening of music which covered many genres.

"We extend our thanks to everyone who came and supported."

Ms Cooper has had three number one albums in the classical charts worldwide and has recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.

The classical singer has also performed with the likes of Sir Cliff Richard, Lionel Richie, Charlotte Church and Russell Watson.

Joining her on stage for the evening were Spinfield's Rock School Choir and some of Ms Cooper’s private tuition students.
