MICHELIN starred former Danesfield House chef Adam Simmonds will be the star guest at Marlow Food Festival next month.
The award-winning restaurateur, who reached the final of this year’s Great British Menu series, will entertain crowds with demonstrations at the annual event on September 21.
Now in its sixth year, the popular free festival at the Compleat Angler also features pastry chef Stephen Glenister from Stephanie Almeida bespoke cakes, showing audiences how to work with dark chocolate.
The drinks world is also represented, with the Blue Beer Company offering a chance to sample the Dutch Château Neubourg pilsner, while Spirited Wines will be hosting a whisky tasting.
A plethora of tasty morsels will be on offer to try before you buy, with 30 stalls selling a range of food and drinks as well as gifts, vintage china and fashion accessories.
The festival runs from 11am until 4pm on Sunday, September 21 at the Compleat Angler Hotel on the banks of the Thames in Marlow.
