A NEW shop selling bath time ritual boxes will open in Lane End High Street today.

Jackie Hope set up Soak Yourself two years ago after becoming fed up with a commute into London to work as a building surveyor in the city.

The Bolter End resident decided to take the plunge and set up the company, which she had been dreaming about since 2000.

The main concept is selling boxes of goods for a relaxing bath time, which even comes with a permission slip.

Jackie said: "The idea is that instead of going out and buying all sorts of bits you have everything you need for that lovely, long prefect soak."

Since 2012 she has been running the business from home and sells to retailers.

But soon the company became too big for her home, which is when she decided to take over the premises in Lane End.

Jackie said: "Everyone in the village is so excited. I have had so much support.

"Lane End had seen better days, but with Strawberry Grove opening up the road, and now us, there is more going on."

The boxes, which include one for a broken heart and another for aching muscles, have all natural ingredients with an essential oil as a base and includes bath salts, a candle and other items.

Soaps will also be for sale, and there will be an exhibition wall for artist of the month.

Soak Yourself will be open from Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm.
