SPORTING husband and wife team Gabby and Kenny Logan will open this year’s Knotfest Charity Music Festival.
The couple, who live in Penn, will perform the opening ceremony on Friday, September 12, at 8pm at The Red Lion pub in Knotty Green.
Gabby said: “We're delighted to be coming along to support such a worthy cause and enjoy the music”.
The three-day event, held at The Red Lion, is now in its third year and features more than twenty local groups and singers, who all give their time for free.
Last year's event, which was opened by popstar, Beverley Craven, raised more than £3,000 for charity.
Knotfest, organised by Red Lion landlady Tina Massie, raises thousands for the Thames Valley Adventure Playground for children with special needs as well as other charities in and around Beaconsfield.
As well as the music, Knotfest will have a barbecue, face-painting, a licensed raffle, tombola and many other attractions and entry will be free.
