AN independent music academy will be launched this month in High Wycombe.

The Chiltern Music Academy was formed in July by a group of parents and music professionals whose vision is to create an independent music academy to nurture and support the developing musician in every child.

It is a registered charity and children between the ages of seven and 19 will be able to attend.

There will be Friday night sessions at the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe and Saturday morning groups at Cressex Community School.

The launch is on Saturday, September 13 from 10am to 3pm at Cressex Community School.

Bring your instrument or your voice and get involved, with music workshops, bouncy castle, barbecue and more.
