AN injured motorist had to be cut out of his car after a crash on the M40 last night.
The accident, which happened on the southbound carriageway between junctions 2, for Beaconsfield, and 1a, for the M25 interchange, was reported to the emergency services at 10.51pm.
One car was involved in the incident.
Crews from Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross fire stations attended and freed the injured man using hydraulic rescue equipment.
