CALLERS dialling the police’s 101 number can now get through after a technical hitch with the service.
The issue affected forces nationally, but police say the number is now fully up and running again.
101 is the police's non-emergency line, for matters that do not require a 999 call.
Forces across the country reported problems with the line from 9am this morning.
Emergencies should still be reported on 999.
