Details of how much more land will be needed for the HS2 railway line will not be made public until after the General Election, a south Bucks MP has said.
Chesham and Amersham MP Cheryl Gillan asked for further details of all the proposed land requirements the multi billion pound project will require, and over what timescale.
She claims the junior minister for transport, Robert Goodwill, told her in a letter that an update on the proposals will be made next month - but the full details will not be released until after May's election.
Mrs Gillan said the response she received meant it is not yet clear when, exactly where, or how much land will be taken by HS2 Ltd as part of the scheme.
The former Welsh Secretary said: "This is yet another example of how HS2 plans are up in the air and unclear."
