An injured woman had to be cut free from the wreckage of a three-car pile-up on a busy main road today.
The emergency services closed the A416 Chesham Road, in Amersham, this morning after racing to the scene of the crash at about 11am.
Two Bucks Fire and Rescue crews from Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross attended along with an officer.
The firefighters had to use hydraulic rescue equipment to release one injured woman.
The authorities have not yet been able to confirm the woman’s current condition, or if anyone else was hurt.
