PRINCES RISBOROUGH: The popular Halloween bonfire and fireworks party returns to Princes Risborough School playing field on New Road. It is organised by Princes Risborough Rotary Club, with the fireworks display by Total Pyro. Gates open 5.30pm, the bonfire is lit 6.30pm and fireworks start at 7pm. There will be food stalls and a bar, music and a fun fair. Car parking available for £2. Family tickets £13 in advance (£16 on gate), adults £5 in advance (£6 on gate) and under 12s are £4 in advance (£5 on gate). Advance tickets available from The Information Centre in the Library, the Post Office on Horns Lane, Special Days and Daisy Chain, both on the High Street, Ian Rennie in Market Square and Longwick Post Office.

Sunday, October 29 

BEACONSFIELD: Hotspur School’s Fantastic Family Fireworks are back for another year with mulled wine, hot dogs, a bar and snacks. Fireworks will start at 6pm. Helpers are needed for the evening – all helpers get free entry to the fireworks and a free hot dog. For more details, visit www.holtspursch.co.uk/newsevents. 

CHALFONT ST PETER: The gates open at around 5pm with the bonfire being lit at 5.30pm. The fireworks are due to start at around 6pm. The event is very popular and usually attracts thousands of people. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting Chalfont St Peter’s 1st Scout Group. Child tickets are £5, adults are £8 and a family ticket is £20. 

Friday, November 3 

HIGH WYCOMBE: Hamilton Academy fireworks will kick off at 6pm. There will be an inflatable disco dome and ferris wheel, glow toys and hot food and drinks. The display starts at 7pm at the school in Hampden Road. Family tickets are £20 (two adults and three children), adult tickets are £7 and a child ticket is £5. Kids under 5 go free. FULMER: A family bonfire night celebration will be held at King George’s Field on Fulmer Common Road from 6.30pm. The fireworks display will start at 8pm and there will be a barbecue, bar, music, carousels and stalls. Tickets are £20 for a family, £10 for adults of £5 for children.

CHESHAM: The Chesham United Supporters’ Trust will be organising one of the biggest events in the town’s calendar as the annual fireworks display at The Meadow returns from 7.30pm. Gates open at 6pm with licensed bar and hot food available along with a range of other stalls. Entrance is £7 for an adult and £5 for under 18s. Children under 5 get in free. Family tickets for two adults and two under 18s are £20. 

AMERSHAM: A thrilling pyrotechnic display will be held at Amersham and Chiltern Rugby Club in Weedon Lane from 6pm. There will be the usual bonfire, barbecue and beer and the bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm. The fireworks will start at around 6.45pm. 

GREAT KINGSHILL: The gates open at 6pm at the site in Cockpit Road. Tickets £5 each or £15 for four if bought in advance from Spar Shop or Cryers Hill Post Office. All tickets on the night £5 each.

MARLOW: This year’s spectacular fireworks display at Foxes Piece School will be put on by Sonning Fireworks Ltd again. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for children. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks at around 7.15pm.

BURNHAM: Burnham FC is producing one of its largest firework nights at its Grand Firework Display. This year, there will be a fun fair, market stalls face painters and lots of side shows. After the display there will also be a disco. Food stalls will be selling hamburgers and chilli hot dogs, and there will be a roasted horse chestnuts stall. More than 800 people attended last year. Also planned is a live on-pitch production of the true story of Guy Fawkes by local actors, then a large bonfire with old Guy Fawkes being burnt at the stake. Saturday, November 4 

BEACONSFIELD: A free family friendly event including a bonfire, firework display, sparklers and refreshments. Doors open at 4.30pm, hot chocolate and hot dogs will be served between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, with the display starting at 5.30pm. The event takes place at Latimer Minster, Stampwell Farm on Oxford Road (A40). 

HIGHER DENHAM: Bonfire night will be celebrated at Higher Denham Community Hall and field, with fireworks starting at 7pm. There will be a licensed bar from 5pm and a barbecue from 6pm. There will be a selection of stalls, a sparkler area, mulled wine, tea and coffee. Rucjets are £8 for adults, a family ticket is £23. 

GREAT MISSENDEN: A fireworks and bonfire extravaganza – with award-winning star fireworks set to music – will kick off at 5pm at Great Missenden School in Church Street. There will be fairground rides, family entertainment, a raffle, barbecue and hog roast and a licensed bar. Tickets are £17.50 for adults, £6 for children over 2 and under 16’s £4 if bought before October 28. After then, the prices will be £25 for a family ticket, £8 for adults and £6 for children. MARLOW: This year’s Marlow Monster Fireworks Show promises to be the biggest yet. It will take place at Marlow Sports Club, with gates opening at 5.30pm. Arrive early to enjoy a BBQ, and local beers and wines, as well as to try your hand at new sports, enjoy spooky goings on and browse the mini village. The fireworks will be accompanied by music by Dave the Disco. Tickets are available from the Marlow Sports Club, Marlow Library, Pike Smith and Kemp and the Marlow Sports Club bar. PRESTWOOD: The scouts will be putting on fireworks and a bonfire display from 6.15pm at Wren Davis Field on Wycombe Road. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm. Advance tickets - adult £4, at gate £5,  family tickets max two adults and up to five in total £10, at the gate £15. AMERSHAM: Chestnut Lane and Elangeni Schools Association and Chesham Bois C of E Combined School PTA have joined together to present a fireworks spectacular at the Elangeni School field, Woodside Avenue. There will be mulled wine, hot dogs, a bar, snacks and glow products on sale. No dogs are allowed. The fireworks will be launched at 6.30pm.

LATIMER: The Restore Hope charity fireworks will start at Latimer Park Farm, Chesham, at 6.30pm. Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for 12 and under and free for children under 2. Ticket price includes food and refreshments. Book your tickets at www.restorehopelatimer.org.

HIGH WYCOMBE: The town’s Round Table is holding their annual bonfire and fireworks display from 5.30pm. Food stalls and a bar will be open. Tickets are £7 for adults, £4 for children and £22 for a car ticket, which are available at anyaconsultancy.com/hwrt. 

BEACONSFIELD: Gabby Logan will be the celebrity guest at Beaconsfield Cricket Club’s 37th annual firework display – Big Bang Musical Fireworks and Bonfire night. There will be a ‘little bang’ at 5.30pm – a shorter, quieter display for younger children, with fireworks going off at 5.45pm – while Gabby will light the huge bonfire at 7.15pm, followed by the main musical fireworks from 7.45pm. BEACONSFIELD: The 49th Beaconsfield Round Table fireworks will take place on at Beaconsfield Rugby Club. Gates open at 5pm with firework displays at 6pm and 7.30pm, at to music by Sirotechnics – the British musical fireworks champions, with a children’s themed firework display at 6pm. GERRARDS CROSS: A family fireworks display will take place at Gerrards Cross Memorial Centre. Organisers promise an evening of music and refreshments, with a “wonderful” fireworks display accompanied by a BBQ from Savannas Butchers. FLACKWELL HEATH: Another great show has been organised for Flackwell Heath at the sports field at the end of Chapel Road, with two displays in one night – one for the children and another to finish off the night. Gates open from 6pm, with the bonfire at 6.45pm, followed by the fireworks 7pm and the second lot at 7.40pm. Tickets at the gate cost £7 each and £5 in advance, except for under-fives who get in free with their parent/carer. There will be a bar and BBQ. NAPHILL: Every year the Village Hall fireworks committee arranges and organises the annual Bonfire and Fireworks display. It is a major event for the village and is widely supported throughout. Almost 2,400 people attended last year’s spectacle and organisers are hoping for the same this year. They are looking for youngsters to help on the night. Contact the Village Hall fireworks committee if you are interested. Gates open at 5pm, and the bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm, with fireworks starting at 7pm. COOKHAM: The spectacular and popular Grand Firework Display and Bonfire organised by Cookham Scouts returns to Grove Island, in Odney Lane. Gates open at 5.30pm and the bonfire lighting will be at 6pm, with fireworks at around 7pm. Hot dogs, refreshments and mulled wine will be on sale. MARLOW BOTTOM: Burford School in Marlow Bottom will once again play host to the multi-award-winning Star Fireworks at the Marlow Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza 2017. DOWNLEY: Meet at Commonside near the Village Hall to purchase your torch for £2 each from 6.30pm and march across the Common to the bonfire and throw the torch on the fire. Food and drink will be available, provided by Downley Dynamos. Children must be supervised.

BLEDLOW RIDGE: The bonfire site is near The Boot pub and there will be a licensed bar to enjoy a mug of mulled wine. Gates open at 4.30pm and the bonfire will be lit shortly after (around 5pm-5.30pm). The fireworks display will start around 6pm/6.30pm. Advance tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for kids and children under 3 get in for free. Family tickets (2+2) cost £14 each. On the gate, tickets cost £8 for adults, £5 kids and £22 for family of 4. Advance tickets can be bought from The Country Store and the Boot or West Wycombe Village Store and Post Office. 

STOKE POGES: After the “resounding” success of 2016, Stoke Place Hotel will be hosting another great event with all the thrills and tradition of Guy Fawkes Night. Tickets cost £10 per person and can be bought by emailing events@stokeplace.co.uk or calling 01753 560 219.

IVER: The Richings Park Village Action Group and Richings Park Residents Association present the Family Fireworks Night at Richings Park Sports Club. Gates open at 4.30pm and fireworks start at 5.30pm. There will be a family BBQ, samosas, popcorn, bar, DJ and more on the night. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for children over five. No car parking onsite. No fireworks or alcohol allowed to be brought onsite. All profits will be used to build a playground for Richings Park.

Saturday, November 11 

CHALFONT ST GILES: There will be magic in the sky over Stone Meadow for the 48th display, with fireworks at 7pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm and gates open half an hour before. There will be mulled wine and music and tickets are £7 for adults in advance and £9 on the gate. Children are £4 in advance and £6 on the gate. Tickets are available from The Olde Posthouse, Chalfont Pets, The Post Office, Warners Butchers and Yaldens in Chalfont St Giles, Chiltern Bike Barn in Chalfont St Peter and the Post Office in Seer Green. All proceeds towards funding for village Guides and Scouts.
