A bomb squad was called to a farm yesterday after a dog walker stumbled upon a World War Two bomb.
Thames Valley Police and the Royal Logistic Corps bomb disposal team raced to Amersham to examine the weapon, which was identified as a WWII mortar round.
Fortunately, the bomb was found to be inert and was safely removed.
