Vera (Gladys) Hopkins Recently of Westover Road, Downley. Beloved wife of the late Arthur George Hopkins. Mother of Mary, Grandma of Alexander, Aaron and Bethany, Great Grandma of Taliesin. Slipped away peacefully in her sleep, at The Gables Nursing Home, Aylesbury, during the morning of Monday 6th June 2016. After a full and feisty 99 years. The funeral was on Thursday 23rd June 2016, at St. James, Downley, where both Vera and Arthur were active members for over 50 years. Officiated by the Rev. Alison Finch. Retiring collection proceeds are to be split between Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, and MacMillan. David Silvey, Westbourne Street, is accepting donations. Reunited in God. Rest in Peace.
