A pub in Beaconsfield is raising a glass to toast two national achievements this summer.
The Red Lion in Knotty Green, was listed as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) by Camra at the end of last month and has since been named the Best Community Pub in London and the South East on August 3.
The pub is now one of 800 in England to be registered as an ACV, which is described by the beer society as a nationally recognised "badge of honour" proving its value to local residents and the council.
The Red Lion is now entered in to the running for the ‘Overall Pub of the Year’, along with 15 other contenders by The Great British Pub Awards 2015.
Pub landlady, Tina Massie said: "I am absolutely thrilled that The Red Lion as won this Great British Pub award - our second in as many years - and all the more so because it came as a complete surprise.
“It is a fantastic honour and a real pat on the back for my team, who work so hard to keep the pub at the very heart of our little village - an important role it has played for more than three centuries."
The 300-year-old Red Lion Pub is the last commercial concern in a small village of 800 people. It is also the meeting point of many social clubs within the Knotty Green community.
