- There will be a dog show and family fun day on September 13 in Gerrards Cross. Gerrards Cross Community Association is holding the event from 1pm at 8 East Common, SL9 7AD. Doors open at 1pm, with the dog show beginning at 2pm. entry is £1, children get in for free.
- Head down to Hedgerley this weekend for plenty of family fun, with a fun day on Sunday, August 30 in aid of charity. There will be a dog show, kite display, live music and band, beer and Pimm’s tent, afternoon tea and cake tent, a bouncy castle and slides for youngsters as well as fun activities like face painting, biscuit painting, candy floss and hook a duck games. Head down to the village green, Hedgerley Hill from 12pm until 5pm.
- The popular Beaconsfield Country Fayre returns to Windsor End on Monday with an action packed line up. The infamous stretcher race returns as well as a classic car show and dog show, birds of prey display, giant inflatable slide and climbing wall. Craft and food stalls, a great balloon race, children's Go-Karts and live music from the Phoenix Jazz Band will also keep visitors entertained. The fayre will run from 11am to 4pm. - Beaconsfield memory walk will take place on September 6 this year in aid of Alzheimer’s Society. Registration is at 10am, for an 11am start at Hall Barn, Windsor End. You can register by emailing southbuckinghamshire@alzheimers.org.uk or by calling 01494670909. No dogs are allowed.
