A Post Office in Beaconsfield is undergoing a major revamp, which will see it opening seven days a week.
The Post Office in Burkes Road is currently closed while the refurbishment work is carried out and will reopen on Friday, November 13 at 1pm.
Once the work is complete, the Post Office will be extending its opening hours by 41 hours and 30 minutes a week, including all day Sunday and Saturday afternoon and there will be a conversation room for private talks about financial services.
Three new modern serving positions will be provided, with two main counters – one open plan and one screened and a post office service point.
The move is part of a major modernisation programme across the Post Office network designed to make the process easier for customers.
Alan Ridoutt, Post Office area manager, said: “We know how important Post Office services are to residents in Beaconsfield. We are confident this vibrant modern Post Office, at the heart of the community, will be popular.”
