Developers are planning to hold a public consultation on the redevelopment of Wilton Park next month.

Inland Homes are inviting residents to attend the consultation on the development of the former Ministry of Defence site Wilton Park, in Beaconsfield Old Town, which has been earmarked for up to 350 houses as well as a ‘community hub.’

The consultation will take place over two dates, Friday, December 4 from 2pm to 8pm and Saturday, December 5 from 11am to 4pm at the Council Chamber in Beaconsfield Town Hall.

In 2013, Inland Homes asked the Beaconsfield community to share their thoughts of future development on the site, which helped them form a planning brief that was formally adopted by South Bucks District Council in March this year.

The next stage will be to prepare an outline planning application, which will provide more detail on the development and the contribution it will make to the town.

A spokesman for Inland Homes said: “We are delighted to show our plans for the new Wilton Park which include new homes, sports and leisure facilities, a community hub and parkland.

"We want to create a truly outstanding environment at Wilton Park and encourage anyone interested to attend our consultation on the 4th and 5th December.

"The public consultation is a chance to find out more about the proposals and for us to hear your thoughts.”
