A centenarian celebrated her 105th birthday surrounded by friends and family.
Thelma Rose, a resident at Sunrise of Beaconsfield care home, in Station Road, celebrated the incredible milestone last month with a party at the care home.
Before moving to the care home, the centenarian travelled around the world, living in Paris, Switzerland and America.
She worked in fashion and, according to care home staff, loves to be creative, enjoying drawing and painting as well as playing scrabble.
Staff decorated the private dining room at Sunrise with flowers, balloons and streamers for the landmark celebration, with Mrs Rose being treated to a birthday cake and birthday tea.
She also received a card from the Queen.
Shila Odedra-Silvera, director of community relations at Sunrise of Beaconsfield, said: “We were absolutely honoured to host such a lovely party for Thelma to celebrate her incredible 105th birthday milestone.
“We were delighted that so many people were able to join together with us to celebrate her special day, and it was brilliant to see how pleased she was to see everyone.”
