Bucks Bites:

The perfect wife and mother, Rebecca runs a home, a village magazine and is working on her novel. She does not visit the gym or jog but is in amazingly good shape. She enjoys photography, playing the piano and arguing with the TV. She lives in Amersham with her husband and youngest child (aged nine). Her eldest, now 26, lives and works in Buckinghamshire.

Existing:

My blog has no particular purpose- it’s just a snapshot of the things that happen in my life and the thoughts those events trigger really. For the last ten years, I have worked as a teaching assistant at a junior school, and recently I started studying for a degree with the Open University. Couple this with the fact that I have a daughter studying for her A levels, and a son for his GCSEs, not forgetting a husband working towards yet another qualification in insurance, and you’ll begin to understand why my random jottings are largely about education. Through my writing, I hope to raise a smile, and will welcome complaints should I fail!

Desperate Housewife:

Desperate Housewife lives in High Wycombe with her husband, children and boisterous dogs. She is going to write blogs on various day to day topics, such as toddler and teen tantrums, marital issues, competitive Mums and much much more!

Ollie:

I'm an 18-year-old guy who's lived in Wycombe all my life and I'm pretty happy with the place. In these blogs I hope to explore important (and not so important) issues including the history of the area. I hope you enjoy them.

Juggler:

I call myself that as I am constantly juggling work, family, home, friends, gym, running, socialising etc etc. So I shall blog as I go and hopefully you will join me in the busy, sometimes mad but generally interesting and often funny life I lead!

The wayside:

A cat's eye view along the road of ...life.

Ivor:

Since I was born I have had the pleasure of residing in the wonderful town of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. My ancestors have resided in Wycombe and the surrounding area for several centuries.During my lifetime there have been many changes take place in our town. At the present time the town is changing faster than ever before however I feel that not all the changes are for the better. I would like to share my experience of life in Wycombe with you through this blog. Hopefully this will raise awareness of the problems the residents face in their daily lives.

The Carbon Coach:

Meet Dave Hampton, ‘the carbon coach’, family man, 50 years old, living in Marlow, in a refurbished energy efficient home. He keeps a low ‘footprint’. Dave rowed for Great Britain in 1982, studied engineering at Cambridge and went on to become one of the UK’s most dedicated climate change campaigners, influencing businesses, families and the rich and famous to cut their carbon. Dave often appears on TV and in newspapers, and his work as the carbon coach has attracted much international interest.

Eris:

Eris is a 22 year old recently-graduated woman, who was born & bred in Wycombe. She thinks the town is just spiffy.
