Campaigners who are fighting against development on a large green space between Bourne End and Wooburn Green say they will explore all options before allowing building to start.
Slate Meadow was released as a reserve site by Wycombe District Council last year, but residents who are now looking at the future of the area say they are examining all possible ways to prevent development.
Brian Pollock, who has represented Bourne End and Hedsor for WDC, currently sits on a liaison group discussing the future of Slate Meadow.
And, this week he says the group have started to discuss a past planning application in the north of England, which, under similar circumstances, was able to avoid construction.
He said: “We’re happy to look at all the options. At the moment, we have set-up a sub-group to discuss the other planning application. It’s not a certainty, but all of these options are worth looking at.”
