Preparations are well underway for the Bourne End Forum Players annual panto.

‘Dick Whittington and his Cat’ will see younger members of the players take to the stage and star in leading roles at The Bourne End Community Centre on Wakeman Road.

Barrie Penfold, of the Forum Players, said: “This is a happy, charming show with plenty of knockabout comedy in true panto style.

“Written by Ben Crocker audience participation is an essential along with the chance to get up on stage to sing with members of the cast – the personal touch that’s an essential part of any Forum Players panto.”

Show dates are on Saturday, January 23 and 30 at 2:30 and 6:60 pm. Sunday, January 24 has one performance at 2:30pm and a free performance for senior citizens will be on Wednesday, January 20 at 8pm.
