Firefighters tackle blaze near primary school
Firefighters extinguished a blaze near a primary school this afternoon.
Crews from Beaconsfield raced to The Meadows School, in Wooburn Green, at about 12pm to tackle a fire in a field.
The fire, which started in a refuse container, was found unattended when firefighters arrived at the School Road site before they extinguished the flames using a hose reel.
No one was injured during the incident.
