A man who was left laying in the road after being hit over the head with a bat is still in hospital a week after the attack.
Police were called to Wycombe Lane, close to the junction with Watery Lane in Wooburn Green to a man laying in the road with a head injury in the early hours of last Thursday.
An update from police this morning confirmed that the 33-year-old man is still at John Radcliffe Hospital in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made so far.
It is believed that the man was assaulted by two males, one of whom was carrying a bat.
After the attack, the pair returned to a vehicle and drove off in the direction of Watery Lane towards Beaconsfield or Loudwater.
