Community pub in Bledlow Ridge reopened after temporary closure

The Boot The Boot

A PUB bought by the community in Bledlow Ridge has reopened again with new tenants.

The Boot in Chinnor Road closed in April as the previous tenant left before his lease ended.

According to the pub's Facebook page managers Christine and Steve have been appointed by Inn Taverns, who are under contract to run the pub for the time being.

The pub was bought by villagers at the end of 2010 to save it from being turned into a house.

It reopened on June 30 and was open for Sunday lunch on July 8.

The new email address is hello@villageboot.co.uk.

That good! Too many pubs are closing, especially in rural areas. I wish them well.
