Baking guru Mary Berry was the show stopper this week as she paid a visit to school pupils looking to wow her with their cake creations.
The Penn resident and star of The Great British Bake Off paid a celebrity visit to Dr Challoner's High School in Little Chalfont on Wednesday.
She regaled pupils and staff with tales from behind the scenes of the popular BBC series and handed out the prizes to the school's own baking challenge, The Great Challoner's Cake Off with Mary Berry.
The event raised more than £400 for the Challoner's Girls Foundations as 25 pupils put their baking skills to the test.
Organiser Connie Lewis, the school's deputy head girl, said: "With Challoner’s well-known passion for cake, the atmosphere was buzzing with the hall packed full with students and teachers alike, who had all come to watch the presentations for the winners of The Great Challoner’s Cake Off, and of course listen to the wise words from Mary Berry."
Sasha Warren was crowned winner, while Ella Merten-Mancer and Ellie Meats came second and third respectively.
